Meet Tyler Brooks

Tyler Brooks is a contractor and finish carpenter in the Salt Lake Valley who specializes in the work most contractors have to send out to a specialist — custom built-ins, non-standard stairs, millwork matched to what’s already in the house. He runs his own crew, and the same team is on your job from the first walkthrough to the last coat of paint.

Most general contractors are coordinators: when a project needs real craft, they go find someone who has it. That’s a normal way to run a business — it just means the person who priced your job isn’t the person cutting the miters.
